Why should you cleanse?

As you go about your hustle and bustle of everyday life, it’s inevitable that your face builds up with dirt, oil and other debris throughout the day. Cleansers will remove this build up and get rid of the bacteria, pollutants, as well as dead skin cells to reveal fresh, clean skin.

How many times do you need to cleanse?

The million dollar question! Ideally 3 times in total. Once in the morning to remove the grime, oil and sweat from your beauty sleep, this tends to be a gentle water-based cleanser such as a milk or cream cleanser. In the evening before bed, you should double-cleanse. The first cleanse should be oil-based to break down any makeup, SPF (because you wear that everyday don’t you…) and built up dirt and bacteria throughout the day, followed by a water-based cleanser like a gel, foam or cream.
