The brains behind Epionce
The Epionce story begins with Dr Carl Thornfeldt. As a child, Dr Carl struggled with severe eczema, and despite facing many challenges with his skin health, he transformed these experiences into a driving force for creating skincare products aimed at improving the lives of others with similar conditions.
Focusing on dermatology, paediatrics and allergies, he started to practise medicine alongside his father. Dr Carl was determined to find better solutions for skincare conditions his patients were facing, leading him to organise research teams in North California to deep dive into skin function and botanical activity, marking the beginning of groundbreaking discoveries.
Groundbreaking discoveries
From May 1989, Dr. Carl spent thirteen years collaborating with research teams to develop a theory on the root cause of his clients' skin concerns, uncovering insights into skin function and identifying therapeutic botanical ingredients and effective delivery systems.
These findings led to the creation of the Epionce product line. As a doctor demanding high quality, Dr Carl firmly believed that his products had to be backed by the same expectation of clinical studies he would have as a physician. Therefore, while the technology in the Epionce products surpassed theory, they needed to be proven to actually work through rigorous clinical testing.
As a result, all Epionce studies are carried out by independent research organisations renowned for adhering to the strictest standards of clinical studies using the final, market-ready products. Therefore, the results they say their products deliver have been proven by science in clinical testing.
